Spinnaker Tower

Portsmouth is fast becoming one of Britain's favourite family-friendly destinations. The high speed internal lift takes visitors up to the first of three view decks in just 28 seconds. A brand new audio guide with adults’ and children’s versions, brings the harbour beneath you to life, and allows the whole family to identify key landmarks on the horizon and learn more about the rich history of Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. The Spinnaker Tower also boasts Europe’s largest glass floor, enabling intrepid visitors of all ages to virtually ‘walk on air’!

The Tower provides a rolling programme of events too, including regular appearances from its friendly mascot, Spinny, during public and school holidays, as well as a special Fan Club for the kids. There will be a dressing up box for children to try out being an authentic Roman, including gladiators’s outfits and Julius Caesar togas!
